As a manager, you may excel at directing projects, solving problems, and driving results. But how much time are you investing in developing you and empowering your employees?
Executive coaching develops potential and dramatically improves performance by focusing on the manager’s individual needs, including personal growth and learning to set better goals, reach goals faster, make better decisions and improve communications and relationships and reflect on and change behaviours.
This tailored professional development offers fast-track management development and dramatic outcomes, and is often used for the following reasons:
role/career changes; managing stress, change, conflict or crisis;
enhancing personal impact and performance;
supporting a new appointment;
accelerating the personal development of individuals defined as high potential;
offering tailored development as a means of rewarding and retaining key staff critical to the business.
addressing behavioural change
Life coaching techniques can help you in all aspects of life. If you've ever struggled with something - whether it , moving out of your comfort zone, improving your confidence or self-esteem, trying to adopt a positive habit, then work with a life coach could help you.
Coaching will approach things pragmatically. Through questions and exercises, you will try to get an idea of how you perceive the world. From this, identify the most effective route to your goal. Some people feel intimidated by the idea of change and so need to take things slowly to fulfil their goals. Often coaching divides ultimate goals into smaller bite-sized pieces.
Armed with more self-awareness, self-belief and strategies, you will be in a much better position to start making positive changes that make a real difference to your life.
I often work with;
Work life balance
Stress and time management
Happiness and fulfilment
The International Consortium for Health and Wellness Coaching was formed with the input from over 70 representatives from individuals in schools and organizations. The ICHWC believes health and wellness coaching is “the change agent that shifts the culture and delivery of healthcare from dependency to empowerment.” Strong words and research to back it up!
I believe in keeping our mind and bodies healthy and happy, and listening to what they are telling us. By working closely with your wellness goals, I will use my experience as a coach and Personal Trainer to achieve the outcomes you want. We can work on your wellbeing in general, or target more specifically areas like exercise, diet management, weight loss, burn out management, and I will be a key motivator to keep you on track.
How it works
Coaching takes place either face to face, by telephone or Skype.
I offer a free 20 minute telephone call to get to know your needs and for us to get to know each other.
The first coaching meeting lasts for 90 minutes.
Thereafter meetings are for 60 minutes. The regularity of the meetings will be discussed at eh first meeting and will be dependent on the required outcomes and change
Wanting to break a habit? Creating a new positive habit can be difficult. Coaching can help by identifying triggers, and once you define your trigger, you can work on making a change and creating a new habit. Define the moment you want to change, and you’ll be one step closer to changing it.
Make it easy and exact
Once you understand the new habit you want to create, make it easy to get there. Be short and specific. Start by creating a micro-habit.
Practise makes perfect
Building a new habit takes time, and even if you’re committed to it, it takes effort too. It’s easy to slip back into old habits, but if you keep practising and working towards your new one, you’ll get there.
