What is therapy? Could it be for me? How does it work?

Therapy with me is more like a conversation. It can be emotional, jump from one thing to another, or filled with silences, but always grounded in care, collaboration and curiosity. I'm not here to tell you what to do or how to solve your problems.  

I’m here to be with you while we figure things out together.

I aim to create a space where you don’t have to pretend to be okay and you don’t have to hold it all together or act like someone who you are not.  With me, you can feel what you feel and be ok, knowing that I will be there with you, with curiosity, care and support.

The expert in your life is you, I am not here to analyse you or tell you how I can figure it out for you. My aim is to listen and accept you, just as you are.

​

Even in the depth and seriousness of therapy, there is often room for warmth, connection, laughter, and small moments of ease.

How it works

​

We start with a free 15 minute introductory consultation where we get to know each other. We then book our first session for 1 hour.  The frequency of sessions depends on you and whether you are looking for maybe a few sessions quickly, maybe some intensive 90 minute sessions, or over a longer period of months for a deep dive.
